With influences spanning eclectic legendary bands and collaborations like; Audioslave, Living Colour, Janes Addiction, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen, Fall Out Boy and other dynamic heavy hitting groups; Mike-Bear formed a collaboration of his own with some of the most talented musicians in New York’s Capital Region (518).

Delivering a fresh yet familiar vibe with catchy hooks, Mike-Bear wrote cutting edge tracks anchored by thought provoking lyrics with a gritty dance rock feel. 

Mike-Bear and The Den, featuring Mike-Bear, Chris K Maloy, Jarod Grieco and Nick Palazeke, is the powerhouse collective that drives the 90's and 00's hard rock/alternative rock/pop rock inspired EP Mike-Bear and the Den. 

Hints of Country, Rock, Soul, Funk, Metal, Orchestral, Choral, Hip Hop, Gospel, and World Music blend well with Mike-Bear's vocals and reflective lyrics, all recorded at The Recording Company by music producer Tim Lynch.

The EP from Mike-Bear, Mike-Bear and the Den- was written and inspired by things that happen in life, the choices we make, how we turn out on the other side, and doing the best we can with dignity, hope and love.
